Pregnacy Yoga

She was initiated into yoga practice in 1998 as a part of her studies at the Integral Balance Center Gaia, where she took Digitopuncture, Therapeutic Massage (Breema, Shiatsu) Reiki I - II and Flowers of Bach classes. Being the Floral Therapy her biggest interest, she traveled to Barcelona, Spain to participate in the VIII Floral Therapists International Congress and to take courses of other Floral Systems (Living Light Essenses of Andreas Korte and Flores of California), mean while, she continued also with a disciplined practice of Hatha Yoga.
Her first Yoga class was informally taught in Santiago, Chile; while she was pregnant, she initiated a self exploration through Prenatal Yoga. In 2006 she makes her first Teacher Training in Hatha Yoga and from that moment on, she has dedicated herself almost completely to yoga classes for pregnant women. At the moment she is studying and practicing Thai Lander massage.

DESCRIPTION:

Her classes are designed to adapt to the needs of the changing body of the pregnant woman, giving much attention to maintain a good position while the belly grows. Techniques of breathing, relaxation and visualizations with the purpose of giving more confidence and security to the new mother are facilitated, with this, she will achieve a greater and better rest and she will be aware of her own body and will reinforce her bonds as well as the baby’s. They will practice asanas in order to strengthen legs, back and shoulders while they work on hip, pelvis and chest opening. The result will be a notorious diminishes on the common annoyances of the pregnancy period.
The Kaegel exercises stimulate the pelvic base muscles and help reach greater control at the moment of giving birth and simultaneously alleviate the recovery post-childbirth. This it is a space created to encourage moment-sharing between mothers and babies, as well to help moms who search for a healthful, calm and happy pregnancy period and childbirth
